Yay! New term! Finally, back to school and friends and new students and routines. And we all know what that means: snack prep time! Here are some study snacks favorites of ours. Some of them you can prep now and store in airtight containers or in the freezer, others you can put on the list for when you go grocery shopping later on. Here we go:
Homemade trail mix – with seeds, nuts, berries, chocolate. Roasted or not. Caramelized almonds or not. Salty or not. Endless possibilities! Make a few different batches and store them for later.
Roasted chickpeas – crunchy yummy, nutritious, chickpeas. Roast them in the oven with smoked paprika, garlic powder and salt. Store in airtight containers.
Frozen grapes – easiest ice cream/candy/snack ever! Buying organic grapes will save you from some of the pesticides and other nasties.
Veggies + dip – carrots, cucumber, radishes – whatever floats your boat. Cut them ahead and store in airtight containers in the fridge. Dip in hummus, baba ghanoush, or a garlicy yoghurt sauce!
C ya!
