Attention, students

Summer vacations are around the corner! Rest is coming. I don’t know about you but I’ve got two exams on the last day of this semester and I need all the energy I can get. So, here are four sweet and three savory snacks to keep the spark during all those hours of studying for exams, writing essays and other school related things.

Rice/ corn cake snacks with toppings – make yourself a yummy corn cake snack by topping it with cream cheese, sliced tomato and some salt and pepper.

Veggies and dip – make sticks out of carrot and cucumber and keep them in an airtight container in the fridge. Dip in hummus, baba ganoush or good old dip for chips.

Boiled egg – if you eat eggs, this one is golden. Quick, easy, tasty.

Fruit and dip – what? Dippin fruit? Yes. Apple is a great dipping fruit. Slice it and dip in nut butter or tahini.

Frozen grapes – this is another classic. Buy a pack of organic grapes, chuck them in the freezer, eat. Tastes like ice cream. Yummy!

Banana bread with nut/seed butter – so this one isn’t really a quick snack. But hey, make two loaves, slice them, put them in the freezer and next time it’s a super quick snack.

Porridge – quick, easy and filling. Top it as you wish, with nut butter, fruit, jam, cinnamon + honey and milk. The choices are endless.
