Thinking About Using the Kitchen in Your Student Apartment?

Here’s a few tips on warming lentil stews to make!

2x lentil stews coming right up!

Curry with red lentils

  • 1 onion
  • 3 carrots
  • 2 potatoes
  • 2 dl red lentils
  • 0,5 l vegetable stock
  • 1 jar coconut milk
  • Curry spice

Fry the onion in a pot, add curry (about a tablespoon or so), chop the carrots and the potatoes and add them to the pot. Rinse the lentils under cold water and add them plus the vegetable stock to the pot. Let simmer for 10 minutes. Add the coconut milk. Salt and pepper to taste. If you’re feeling fancy, chop up a red paprika and some coriander and add to your stew. Otherwise just serve it with rice.

Red lentil stew with spinach

  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3 dl red lentils
  • 0.5 l vegetable stock
  • 1 jar coconut milk
  • 1 tbs Curry spice
  • 1 tsp Cardamom
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • Spinach

Fry the onion in a pot, add garlic, curry, cardamom and cinnamon. Rinse the lentils under cold water and add them plus the vegetable stock to the pot. Let simmer for 10 minutes. Add the coconut milk. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve with rice, spinach and maybe some cashews.
