Hey friends!
School is on which means it’s time to fill up the snack storage. Don’t even get us started on why making your own snacks is obligatory for students – just know it’s saved us from hanger and from getting completely broke because of hugely expensive bars and whatnot. Many a time, many a time. These days, when studying at home might be even more of a thing than before, we’d like to give you two tips on nice, lux, homemade snacks to make.
First one: nice cream – freeze small pieces of banana (or avo, if you’re rich or don’t like banana), then mix them with cacao powder and boom, you’ve got yourself some ice cream in seconds.
Second snack: chickpea chocolate cookie dough – oh boy, try this. It might sound weird with the chickpea thing but give it a try! Chuck a can of chickpeas (thoroughly rinsed and preferably a little dried off so some of the skins peel off) in a mixer with 1 dl of nut butter of your choice, some vanilla, some maple syrup or other sweetener, a tablespoon of chia seeds (if you have some at home), and some chopped chocolate or cacao nibs. Mix it. Done. Yum.
Wowowow these are some great at-home snacks if you ask us.
