Good news for those of you living at Nobelus!

After countless hours of hanging out, studying, and sipping coffee, the lounge in Nobelus was in need of some love — and it got just that!

Lounges and study areas are a core part of our Live to Grow concept. They’re designed as safe, inspiring spaces where students can study, socialize, or simply unwind — whenever they want. Our lounges can also be booked for smaller gatherings and are frequently used by our tenants. We believe the combination of your own apartment and generous shared spaces for both socializing and focused study is hard to beat.

But with heavy use comes wear and tear. One lounge that was due for a refresh was the one at Nobelus, right by the Flemingsberg campus. This spring, we decided it was time for a makeover — and what a difference it made! Around the same time, ByggVesta moved to a new head office, leaving behind a number of high-quality pieces of furniture, which we happily repurposed for the lounge.

The result? A fresh, colorful, and functional space that’s already become a hit. Beatrice, our local area manager, says the feedback from residents has been fantastic — and we’ve seen a clear rise in lounge bookings!

Here’s how Beatrice describes her vision for the new lounge:

"I wanted the lounge to feel welcoming and have a colorful atmosphere with clearly defined zones for different activities. Now, there are spaces that support both focused studying and effective group work, along with comfortable seating areas for watching movies, playing games, or enjoying a cup of coffee with neighbors and friends. My hope is that these new spaces will foster a sense of community while also offering a calm environment for studying.
